Below are some important points for your stay at the Sand Bay Holiday Village 29th August - 2nd September.
The postcode is: BS22 9UR If you have a Club Chalet then on arrival go straight to the Reception, you can book in from 2pm onwards For all other chalets booking in will be done in the Ballroom and commences at 4pm.
Day Visitors will be allowed onsite at a cost of £6.00pp, food can be purchased at reception when you arrive Breakfast is £8.95 and Evening Meal is £11.95 both are eat as much as you like buffets.
All campers will be given bands to wear and you will need these when you register for the competitions.
Day visitors can only enter the Singles Competitions and are not eligible for the Pairs The Camp is a Card Only Site so please come prepared. Only Food & Drink purchased onsite will be allowed in the Venue.
There are NO fridges in the rooms except if you have a bungalow booked. They are similar to a hotel room, not chalets as we had in Prestatyn. As a halfboard camp there are no cooking facilities.
The Finals of all Singles Competitions will be played on stage on Sunday Evening in the Ballroom and will be live streamed.
Don't forget you have to register Online for ALL events and they will close at 11.59pm on Wednesday 28th August 2024 You also have to register prior to the events onsite Thursday Warm Up Singles between 3pm - 5pm and 6pm - 7pm Friday Welsh Classic between 9am - 10am then Mens/Ladies Pairs 4pm - 5pm and 6pm - 7pm Youth Classic register in the Queen Vic between 11.30am - 1.30pm Seniors register in the Ballroom Saturday WICC 9am Team Managers Meeting in the Ballroom then Youth Events register in the Queen Vic 2pm - 4pm Mixed Pairs register between 3pm - 5pm in the Queen Vic Welsh Open register in Ballroom 7.30am - 9.30am There will be screens around the venues and practise areas that will inform you when and where you will be playing, it is Your responsibility to be there on time, don't forget to click yourself in on the ipad when you arrive as this informs the Control Desk in case of disputes.
If you lose you are expected to stay and mark 1 game no excuses failure to mark will result in you not being allowed to play in the other events as everything is recorded.
